Henry P. Becton Regional High School

Henry P. Becton Regional High School is a four year comprehensive high school which strives to meet the general and individual needs of the students and the communities of Carlstadt and East Rutherford.  The district provides education to approximately 525 students in grades 9-12.  A variety of subjects are offered in order to prepare our students who plan to continue their education beyond high school and for those students who may seek employment after high school.  Through curricular offerings, our Virtual High School Program, extracurricular activities, counseling and special services, our school assists each pupil in achieving his/her goals, developing character and recognizing responsibility.   


School Nurse (FT) 

(NJ School Nurse Certification (3010 or 3000). Must possess a current license as a registered professional nurse in New Jersey)

English Teacher (PT)

(NJ Teacher of English Certification (1410) - CE or CEAS. Dual certification a plus. )

Special Education/Math Teacher (FT)

(NJ Teacher with Disabilities Certification - HQ in Math. Dual certification required.)

Spanish Teacher (FT)

(NJ Teacher of Spanish (1550) Certification. Dual certification a plus .)

Art Teacher (PT)

(NJ Teacher of Art Certification (1200) - CE or CEAS. Dual certification a plus . )

Culinary Arts Teacher (PT)

(NJ Teacher of Family/Consumer Science Certification (1705/1707) CE or CEAS and/or NJ CTE Culinary Arts & Baking (4129 & 4128) Certification, or eligibility for certification. Dual certification a plus .)

Guidance Counselor (PT)

(NJDOE School Counselor (2702) Certification. Teaching experience strongly preferred.)
